Why Change your Regulator Rectifier?

Problems with your motorcycles battery going flat / not charging?

If your Garage / Mechanic has told you that you need a new Suzuki GSX-S voltage rectifier regulator, they have probably tested the battery voltage with and without the engine running. If the battery is not charging with the engine running there is a high likelihood that the regulator has failed.

Regulator rectifiers give your bike the electrical current / voltage required to meet the demand created by the ignition system, lights and other accessories. If, as with most modern motorcycles / scooters, your bike uses a 12V system and battery to power the electrics, the regulator charges the battery while the engine is running.
