Note: The Honda XL600V Transalp motorcycles use a Twin Spark ignition system. Therefore they require a Honda Transalp CDI that has two spark outputs. They are also Twin Cylinder bikes so they require two CDI units, giving a total of 4 spark outputs.

Many CDI units can appear the same externally, but they may be either AC fired or DC fired. Also, even though the connectors may appear the same, they often have a different pin-out configuration. If you are unsure which CDI unit to purchase, please contact us, we will be happy to help.
