We can now remove the immobilizer from the Peugeot Jetforce and Elystar TSDI scooters fitted with the 50cc 2-stroke and 125cc 4 stroke engines. They use the Philips (France) or Synerject (USA) TSDI ECU which works alongside the IMM003 / IMM006 Immobilizer Box.
After we have performed the software update to your ECU any key that fits the lock can be used to start the engine. The immobilizer function is completely disabled. As always with our immobilizer and replacement key services, proof of ownership will be required.
The Magneti Marelli IMM003.01 and IMM006.01 immobilizer key reader box is a known failure point in the system. It loses the ability to power the key reader antenna and leaves the bike immobilized even if the correct key is used. Even if you possess the Master Key it will not help you. The immobilizer system will no longer read any key that is inserted in the lock barrel.
New parts are no longer available, and even if you can obtain second hand parts, make sure you get a TSDI ECU with the matching IMM006.01 / IMM006.02 / IMM006.03 immobilizer box AND keys. They are all linked together by the key codes so they cannot just be replaced individually.*
For years when customers have approached us with immobilizer problems on their Peugeot Jetforce or Elystar 50cc and 125cc TSDI scooters we have had to turn them away. So many good scooters have been consigned to the breakers yard!
